Happiest Place on Earth :)

Is is very ironic that I haven't seen Enchanted Kingdom here in the Philippines and yet I can go to Disneyland. Yes, I was very very veryyyyyyyy happy when they already gave our tickets for Disneyland. It's like whoaaaahh this is it. I'm not dreaming.

Let me introduce my Prince Charming <3  We've been from ups and downs. We've experienced so much fights and misunderstandings but love remains in us. Time healed all wounds and the bad vibes we've encountered. And now, we're here still standing, holding each other and facing all trials together. Stronger and better than before.

It is the highlight aside from the Fireworks Display at night in Disneyland. This made me cry. *tears of joy*
I felt like a 5-year old girl that forgot reality just for a day.

There are so much to try in Disneyland -- the Philar Magic, the rides, the boat in adventure land.. everything! Not a single thing failed me in this place. In fact, I was amazed in every place or part we're going. Full of surprises. Full of magic indeed!

Touchdown Hongkong :)

 After almost 2 hours of travel, we finally arrived at Hongkong International Airport. I can't believe and can't hide my excitement.

Since I'm addicted to milk tea here in the Philippines, I didn't have second thoughts when I see this chocolate milk tea in Mongkok. 

Ladies Night Market here in Mongkok. :) Vendors here will give you a very very high price then if you refuse or walk away, they will run after you and ask you what is your target price. Be patient enough in buying. We also went at Esprit outlet wherein Joey bought a shirt for me. Auntie Bang also bought shirts for Joey's dad but when we came home and fix our things, the 2 Esprit shirts were missing. Then we remembered that Joey's check-in bag doesn't have a lock to secure his things.

Who says we can't? (Part 1)

Lupus fighters are also normal people that can do normal things. We can travel the world, we have the ability to enjoy. As much as possible we need to avoid stress in our daily routine. Let me tell a story about our adventure in Hongkong and China. 

Last November 2012, we have set our flight on January 21-24, 2013 then after few days, we avail a tour package which includes Hongkong city tour, Hongkong Disneyland and stay in Shenzhen China with city tour as well. 

Before travelling, it is very important to do research --- the weather, culture, food, places to go, etc etc. January is still winter time for Hongkong so we packed clothes which are suitable for the weather. And we have brought foods too! :) ohhh. A trolley bag is a must!

Ate Joy (my co-worker, sister from another mother, friend). It's her first time to ride in an airplane. She's very excited.

When travelling internationally, come at least 2 hours before your departure time. Ballpen is very important too because you will fill up forms that are needed for the Immigration. Be sure that your passport is with you. Travelling with a tour package is better since the people in immigration will ask you when will you come back. They will also ask where you will stay and your ticket going back to your own country.

Symbol of Hope

I was amazed with this big orange and black butterfly that stayed first in our garden then was shocked when the butterfly was already in our door. Few days ago, I also saw a big butterfly somewhere. I don't know the meaning of this but it brought happiness inside me because it is very rare that a huge butterfly will show. 

BUTTERFLY ---- symbol of hope for Lupus patients. :)

Insecurities

Why do some people never get tired of hating someone. And I wonder how can they survive in everyday life that they don't want their companions. And yet they don't confront them what they don't like. When asked, they will say "No, there's no problem." But their actions show that they are not happy with the group. Worst thing about it is that they keep on telling other people about it.. about the bad things they're thinking. Do not seek for attention in that way. You'll never achieve happiness with what you're doing. You can never be happy if you're focusing on others' fault. One more thing, do not let 'crab mentality' flow into yourself.

Employed to Unemployed to Employed

Time flies so fast. I started working under DOH (RNHEALS) last November 2011.. and 3 months from now, my contract will be finished. But I do believe that there are so many jobs out there for a nurse like me. All we need is faith, patience, and perseverance. I was thinking yesterday what will be my next job.. I already tried two jobs which are related in community. So would it be nice or better if I'll apply as a volunteer nurse in a hospital or choose other job which can compensate me?

21st ♥

People don't know how important this day may be. For some, it may be an ordinary 15th of June, but for me, it is a great blessing. Knowing that I have SLE, a disease that doesn't have cure yet, makes me think that I can die tomorrow. Everything is possible. I may not live tomorrow. I may die today. That's why I make sure that I must celebrate my day with special people I've known on my 21 years here in life. 

I've wished for a tripod the morning of 14th and never expected that I'll have one at night! Thank you to my RHU family.

It is indeed true that there will be positive result at work if you're in good terms with your co-workers. As the saying goes, "Two heads are better than one." Working at RHU is a great opportunity for me to apply my nursing skills. And I've got the great blessing you can find at work -- NEW FRIENDS! :)
